Life’s 2 Short Events started with a group of friends getting together to play frisbee and climb trees at Wash park and turned into something, well, freaking amazing!

We love to run and were getting sick of the same old chip timed 5k’s.

So we started coming up with businesses based around running and fun. It wasn’t long before we started organizing bigger events and our ideas got bigger too. We toss around orange orbs in the fall and run from villainous Vampires. With all of our events our goal and mission is to bring fun and play to the masses. After all, Life’s 2 Short to participate in boring events!
L2SE will be producing/affiliating over 20 of our own events and managing marketing accounts for 5+ other events in our 2015 season. For more information on our company check out our website: www.lifes2shortevents.com

For the summer of 2015, we are looking for a Social Media intern to manage a variety of social media accounts on different platforms while immersing themselves into the exciting up and coming industry of event marketing.

Responsibilities

•Manage social media platforms for multiple race series including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube
•Design social media posts
•Create and executes creative marketing campaigns
•Outreach to relevant groups on social media
•Work as the part of the marketing team
•‘On going education’ including listening to podcasts and reading articles and books relating to field of interest
•Presenting information to the team from ‘on going education’

This is an unpaid position however there will be many opportunities to for bonuses and fun incentives and is only part-time so you will have time for school and work.

Requirements

•Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator
•Expert of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Vine, YouTube, Google+ and Instagram
•Design background
•Design portfolio preferred but not required
•Completed sophomore year in college by Summer 2015
•Working on degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field
•Able to work minimum of 20 hours per week
•Have own transportation
•Living in the South Denver Metro Area in Summer 2015
•Able to start training via phone calls and webinars in March (1 hour per week)
•Internship begins in office on May 18 with company training in the mountains soon after start
