Description

The Dapifer, a growing fashion, art, and culture magazine with over 50,000 dedicated readers is looking for a Community Manager intern to join the team. The candidate will work closely with the Editor-in-Chief and editorial team to strengthen our connection with our audience as well as gaining new readers across all platforms. Our media platforms include a luxuriously crafted quarterly print fashion book, an online website, an online tv platform, an e-commerce shop, and a soon to be released digital platform.

Responsibilities

Creating social posts across platform
Working with our editorial department to find appropriate images, videos, and film for social
Responding to all social messages across platform
Creating Social/Marketing campaigns to drive traffic to our platforms
Engaging with readers and providing feedback on what our readers like about us and what they're missing
Staying on top of other hot social accounts and relaying trending news topics to the appropriate editorial departments


Requirements

**Must be based in the NYC area**
At least 1 prior Social Media or Communications Internship(REQUIRED)
Experience working with creative art/fashion platforms preferred
Familiarity with digital/print marketing space and enthusiasm for working with fashion/art consumers
Familiarity and active across all social channels including (FB, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Feedly..)
A strong understanding of SEO and it's implications
Ability to communicate effectively and take ownership of multiple projects
Quick, sharp, and creative
Must be a TEAM PLAYER
