If you're in High School, College, or right out of college looking to gain more skills in the Technology field for school credit, and are excited about making a difference with a small and motivated Tech startup team, please apply!

If you care about making a difference in Health Care, love Health and Fitness, then this is your opportunity to shine.

We will mentor you (don't be discouraged by the requirements and skills). We will show you the ropes of how to work in a small Tech startup and provide you with referrals and recommendations to make your next jump, either with us or another company. We will write you letters of recommendation for college, jobs, academic programs, and make sure you're getting school credit.

We are looking for someone motivated to gain skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in today's high-paying tech jobs that are available around Silicon Beach or Silicon Valley.

The Content Marketing Intern will coordinate digital content for Santa Monica Souls (Health and Wellness Company)
The ideal candidate will be excited to create and coordinate across channel content marketing and content optimization including texts, video and image content, social media marketing and search marketing.
The Content Marketing intern is a creative marketing mind with the ability to organize projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage a content marketing strategy that supports organizational goals, including: increasing engagement among current subscribers, generating leads (new readers/subscribers), growing website traffic, and becoming the go-to resource for actors looking to having a website.

Create and edit digital content that is consistent with the organization’s brand, style and tone.
Develop and maintain a content calendar that attracts and appeals to the organization’s various customer avatars.
Monitor and report on content marketing metrics and show continuous improvement of the content strategy based on analytics.

Requirements

Content Marketing – Demonstrated skill and/or interest with content marketing strategy.
Leadership – Successful experience working with a team in a project driven environment such as school or a job.
Search Engine Optimization – Passion to to help drive traffic to websites from search engines.
Social Media Marketing – Passion and/ or interest in using social media channels to distribute and amplify the organization’s content.
Editing – Proven editorial skills including strong English language skills and the ability to adjust content to remain consistent with brand, style and tone.
Blogging – Coordination of a business blog that furthers organizational goals and interest in health and wellness.
Lead Generation – Interested in learning the ins and outs of how to generate leads and sales from digital content.

Other Education/Experience Requirements
Passion in digital content strategy and tactics including content creation, editing, analytics, social media marketing and search engine optimization.
1+ year experience in project management (academic school clubs, volunteer, leadership, or professional work experience).
