DescriptionOur company helps entrepreneurs (primarily women) create an online presence by combining personal development with custom styling, photography and branding. We are branching out into other business related areas.
We're looking for a virtual intern to handle writing content/blogs, investigate PR opportunities and create a social media strategy. You have the freedom to work from wherever you like as long as you have internet access!
Responsibilities* create high quality, creative content in the area of personal branding, the changing roles of women in society and the media, personal development and entrepreneurial issues. Blogs that make business FUN.
* create a social media strategy and build *engaged* followers. Understand that there is more to social media than just posting updates and be able to accurately track and report your progress. Create hashtag strategies.
*Have an understanding of SEO and Analtytics in order to track your audiences engagement.
RequirementsWe are looking for a creative and entertaining writer/blogger with a particular interest in subjects that are interesting to women.
The number one requirement is for someone who is witty and has the ability to think outside of the box. An interest in business and psychology a plus! We're not looking for the standard snooze worthy text book type blogs dispersed with an occasional keyword, but rather someone with a fun and engaging writing style that's thoughtful but REAL. Someone wise, insightful but with an EDGE. Think Danielle LaPorte, Marie Forleo or Sophia Amoruso.
We will offer a huge amount of creative freedom for you to come up with blogs/articles/posts that you think would be of interest to our clients. There will be times when we have a specific topic in mind, but more often than not we'd like to hear your ideas. Investigate trends. Look at patterns. Keep your finger on the pulse of society and report back to us.
If you are the type of person that can only write what you're told and by the book you're probably not the right fit.
