We’re looking for someone to join our team who is eager to learn about the business and enthusiastic about having a direct impact in shaping our content strategy. The Digital Content Intern will help develop, enhance, and implement the company’s web and social media marketing strategy. This includes having a major role in shaping our digital content strategy in order to increase brand awareness and generate inbound traffic. From identifying new opportunities to engage with our customers to managing the day-to-day across our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and more), you’ll be an integral member on our team—with room to expand your role.
Developing, maintaining, and executing an editorial calendar. You’ll be working to develop the social strategy surrounding the lead up to and through our upcoming 25th year anniversary.
Keeping up with the latest social trends and best practices.
You are constantly on the prowl for new, more efficient ways to engage with customers through social platforms.
Jumping from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side of interpreting data and applying the findings towards future campaigns.
A modern, nuanced sensibility in how you approach marketing online. No cheese. No sleaze.
A curiosity for understanding our brand, market, and business challenges, and are enthusiastic about researching ways to drive customer engagement, both new and existing.
Amazing social media skills. You know Facebook and Instagram inside and out and know what it takes to stay relevant. Bonus points if you have experience managing a social account that’s not your own.
Excellent writing skills. You’ll need to be able to write in a tone that stays true to our brand identity.
A customer-service mindset. If someone posts a comment, you never leave them hanging.
A solid understanding of SEO and content marketing.
Common sense. You can self-manage your to-do list and recognize when things need to be reprioritized based on the team’s needs.
An interest in fashion, leather, and Indian culture.
