Social Media Strategist and Blogger - Motorycle Industry

This is a great opportunity to gain experience as a social media strategist and blogger, promoting the online retailer, based out of Columbus Ohio. This person needs to be located in the Columbus, Ohio area, with proximity to the Ohio State campus a plus. You will have the ability to work remotely and autonomously, truly building this department from the ground up!

This person will manage all social media platforms, with the goal to grow online presence and increase consumer engagement and ultimately website sales. This position is also responsible for creating and managing weekly blog posts relevant to the motorcycle industry and the products featured on the website. Relevant blog content would be things like; Adventure motorcycle accessories, riding tips, popular riding destinations in the U.S., and any other ideas that would attract the motorcyclist audience. This person will also be responsible for establishing and cultivating relationships with other bloggers and industry experts to further expand digital presence with additional linked-in content.


- Create and manage weekly blog content
- Share published articles via all of our social media outlets
- Create and implement strategies to increase social media audience and engagement
- Assist in strategy to grow traffic to our blog, website, and social media sites
- Proofread current website and provide feedback to enhance content


- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, English or business communications
- Strong writing, organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Proficient in Social Media
- Proficient in content management systems a plus, but not required
