Beeta Honey is a product line of dried honey crystals & powder to use as a healthy alternative to sugar and artificial sweeteners. It is also popular as an ingredient used in face scrubs and spa products. Being that most of our sales are online, we need to have a strong social media presence.
The ideal candidate should be skilled in graphic design for digital with a possibility of print and have a working knowledge of design software including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
This person’s role as a graphic design/social media intern for Beeta Honey will ultimately create effective and engaging content that will build the brand’s following with a goal to educate consumers and drive conversions. This person will complete the internship having gained skills in graphic design and various aspects of marketing and advertising within social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn)
*potential bonuses pending mid-term and end-of-term review.
Responsibilities-Create and modify various layouts, content, and illustrations within brand guidelines
-Post content through all stated social media platforms
-Improvise on projects and graphic design skills
-Remain up to date with what’s trending
-Have creative freedom to execute our vision under supervision
Requirements-Candidates must be able to receive college credit for this internship
-Must be a Junior or Senior (or a sophomore with advanced skills in graphic design)
-Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
-Is able to think “outside of the box” when creating content
-Must own or have access to a computer with Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
-Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
-Can provide personal social media profiles to display working use and knowledge of social media (does not need to display design skills here)
-Can provide samples of past projects (can be school projects)
-Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
-Can make themselves available a few times a week for discussions (we can be flexible week to week and weekend availability if needed)
-Must be able to Skype or FaceTime for interview (or if in NYC/Metro area to meet in person)
