412 Media is currently seeking Social Media Interns who will work directly with our marketing department for a number of corporate clients. Our fastest growing segment is site/page development for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram. Knowledge of Wordpress and email marketing is a plus but not a requirement.

As a Social Media Intern, you will managing client’s social media presence with business strategies and direction. Our clients range from Antique Stone Importers to Real Estate Agencies with a heavy emphasis on best practices for businesses.

This internship is unpaid, however it is a unique opportunity to use all of your social media skills in a real world environment. It is also an excellent opportunity to enhance your portfolio.

Note: This is not a “teaching” internship. We are in need of social media interns who are deeply knowledgable across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram. Selected candidate must be current with and understand new social media trends and will develop comprehensive client specific social media strategies as well as update selected client accounts. Applicants can be "specialists" within a single platform as we are looking to hire the best.


• Create, manage and maintain Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts
• Monitor performance of media posts and engagement
• Produce high-quality work within tight deadlines
• Write clear, concise messages that are on topic and engaging
• Edit and proofread content to meet client objectives and expectations


The selected interns will have a keen understanding of social media and be well-versed in social media engagement and best practices including:

• Strong attention to detail
• Creative
• Understanding of marketing concepts
• Superior communication and comprehension skills
• Ability to work from home and possess a strong individual initiative
• Must be outgoing and have a sense of humor
• A portfolio that showcases your creativity and past experiences

This is a virtual internship. The selected candidate will "report" and communicate with the Marketing Department via email, Skype, and other online systems. The selected candidate must have their own computer, software, and reliable high-speed Internet provider. Almost all projects will be deadline-sensitive. The Intern must show consistency, reliability, and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of our clients.
