GatherYoga is seeking an ambitious undergraduate or graduate-level visual social media intern for an internship starting NOW!

As a visual social media intern, you will be responsible for creating content that invokes digital storytelling focused on the yoga world. It will be your responsibility to find a new way of telling Gather stories by using the power of illustration and design and to create compelling visuals for the social web.

We’re looking for someone who loves social media as much as we do! This position also requires the ability to create high-quality visuals in real-time.

GatherYoga is currently based in Charleston, SC and Geneva, Switzerland. The internship will be remote, with meetings over Skype, but if you happen to live in either Charleston or Geneva, you may have the opportunity to work directly with members of our team in person.

*To start, this is an unpaid position, but it is our intention with deliverables will come compensation*

Responsibilities

Creating beautiful, shareable pieces for Gather's Pinterest pages
Update Gather's social channels including (but not limited to) Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
Gathering insights and data about social channel performance
Analyzing these insights to inform Gather's social media strategy

Requirements

Minimum availability of a minimum of 10 hours per week
Experience in graphic design or illustration
Passion for design and social media
A love for social networks such as Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter
Familiarity with the voice of different social networks
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills
High level of organization
Experience with Adobe creative suite
Hard worker with a fantastic attitude about the digital / social space and a passion for the yoga lifestyle

*Yoga practitioner preferred, but not required*
