DescriptionLaunch Workplaces is a new business venture of The Brick Companies, 124 year old family commercial real estate business. Over the past five years we’ve observed unfavorable trends in the commercial real estate world, prompting us to shift our view of the industry and the future of our company.
The goal of Launch Workplaces is to provide the right office space which is one of the most daunting challenges of a growing business. At Launch Workplaces, you’ll find an array of services and amenities to help a business realize its growth aspirations, including flexible terms for our dedicated offices, virtual office and co-working options across five locations in the DC region.
Launch Workplaces is looking for organized motivated undergraduates with a sense of creativity and development in the fields of business, marketing, and entrepreneurship to join our internship program as part of the Launch Workplaces marketing team. The interns will work closely with business owners and small companies, allowing them to gain knowledge on start up businesses, marketing strategies, positions in those fields and learn about different trends and patterns going on in today’s market.
Responsibilities- Utilizes social media to engage with a community of fans/followers online.
- Coordinates online marketing and advertising campaigns .
- Collaborates with internal departments on projects and assignments .
- Demonstrates interest in social media and how media and communication strategies can continuously engage the online community .
-Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing material.
-Assist with the fulfillment of marketing offers.
-Perform analysis of marketing and sales data.
Requirements-Majoring in Marketing, Business, Entrepreneurship, Communications, Public Relations or similar fields.
-The student must be enrolled in a college or university and have a GPA of 2.5 or above.
- Provide links to 1-3 social networking profiles to demonstrate interest and knowledge.
- Possesses skills in writing, presentation, interpersonal relations, and customer management.
- Performs well in environment that values creativity, flexibility, and variety.
- Exhibits personal qualities, such as open-mindedness, enthusiasm, and adaptability.
-Prefers challenges, fast pace, new ideas, future focus, and unstructured environment.
-Students must have great verbal and written communication skills with extensive knowledge of the Web and social media.
-Good computer skills: Canva, PowerPoint, Word and Excel or equivalent software like Pages, Keynote and Numbers by Apple are required.
