Description

Cardborigami is a non-profit organization that has developed an innovative approach to alleviating homelessness due to poverty or natural disaster. We are seeking to fill two internship positions.

Our purpose is to provide a temporary means of survival with a strong emphasis on situating individuals in our program in permanent housing. Our Product is a foldable shelter that provides instant privacy and weather protection for those who have none. These shelters are water-resistant, flame-retardant and recyclable. Designed by an Architect, the shelter itself is sustainable because it is manufactured locally and, after the life of the shelter, can be easily recycled.
