DescriptionVistage International is the leading CEO organization helping members become more effective leaders -- to meet the needs of customers, employees, investors and themselves! There are 19,000 members, running companies of $5-500M who attend local Peer Advisory Boards. I run one in NYC.
In this internship, you will learn how to use LinkedIn to reach out to CEOs, You will use it to connect the CEO to Dr. Cahn, a Vistage Chairman. For you, it's an ability to learn a powerful reach-out system you can use for the rest of your career.
If a CEO joins Vistage, you get a commission! Also, If you have the time, you can even attend a Vistage New York meeting and possibly make contacts.
I teach for Baruch College (CUNY) management department, and at USST (Univ/ of Shanghai (marketing and entrepreneurship). Trained as a psychologist and attorney, I've worked on Capitol Hill, turned around a public company, and started several companies. I will serve as your supervisor to help you get credit from your school.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be:
* identifying people to contact
* using our formula to "reach out"
* tracking the effort and following up
RequirementsWe're looking for people with
* excellent English communication skills for writing notes, posting articles, and speaking to CEOs
* ability to use computers - databases, powerpoint, social media, etc.
Not necessary, but appreciated, is having:
* Web-design skills (e.g., html, wordpress, etc.)
* good graphic skills
