Skyler is redefining the standard of beauty in America/the look of leadership as a personal stylist, public speaker, wonder woman and founder of Le Red Balloon.

Where culture and media reinforce outdated views of women, Skyler McCurine, stylist and founder of Le Red Balloon, empowers her clients, who hold leadership positions, to stand out with confidence. With her message recognized through TED ( ), Forbes, and Leadership Summits across the nation, Skyler takes a stand for the incredible women who, when focused on their weight, appearance, or outfit, are held back in their quest to solve the world’s problems.
“Enabling leaders at any age, weight, or size to shift their focus – using their mental real estate for the amazing work they have come here do, businesses they need to run, families they need to raise – away from worry of what outfit to wear and how they come across physically - means my work reaches to a level of depth that the traditional fashion world has ignored: what we do with our time while we're in the clothes we're in.”
In addition to her professional clientele, Skyler serves those who are leading uncharted territories: those navigating life after a life-threatening or life changing event, clients who are a minority, be that financial, racial, or transgender. Because the heart of leadership begins at an early age, Skyler uses style to work with teenage girls on deeper, leadership-inspired topics such as conscious media consumption, self-acceptance, and personal branding.

Skyler’s passion for fostering leadership and courage in young women led her to invitation to TEDx, SD Business Journal “Emerging Generation Award” and her recent invitation to attend the Forbes Under 30 Summit as Swiss Luxury watch brand’ Baume & Mercier’s guest of distinction. She is a finalist for the 2016 Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the social entrepreneurship category. She is She is a native San Diegan and received her BA in Communication Studies from Loyola Marymount University and MA in Organizational Management from Ashford University.
