DescriptionBella Luma Films is an independent film production company with offices in Los Angeles and Toronto. We are seeking Social Media interns to support the marketing of several feature films and documentaries we currently have in development. Our films cover very high profile, controversial subject matter so applicants should be comfortable handling politically charged issues and current day matters involving social justice and government and corporate corruption. We are radicals and rebels looking to make things better for people through filmmaking and activism. Goody two shoes and hall monitors will not be a good fit for this position. We are looking for badass activists with a fire in their belly who are sick of the rigged system run by greedy billionaires. Our goal is to end the two-tiered tyranny and give everyone a fair chance in life. We hope to inspire people to stand up to the elite and take back our society.
ResponsibilitiesThe person in the role will have the following day-to-day tasks:
-Research politics for things that are trending in social media.
-Manage an aggressive social media campaign for one or two films.
-Create memes and other concepts that will attract people to our pages.
-Monitor other social media for ways to join conversations.
-Distribute Tweets and work to create a significant Twitter following.
-Seek ways to partner with dominant leaders in the world of social media.
-Recruit people to sign petitions on Change.org.
-All majors are welcome but social media, political science, public relations, mass communication, criminal justice and filmmaking are the best fit.
-Must be a social media expert.
-Coursework on social media and marketing is helpful.
-It is helpful if the candidate has a large social media following.
