Over a career that spanned seven decades, Jerry developed a huge following and a love affair with Washington. Although he passed away in 2008, not a day goes by without an old customer stopping by and wanting to talk about him and what a great guy he was.
In 1974, Jerry’s oldest son, David, graduated from The University of Maryland and joined the business full time. In 1979, his brother Marc did the same. In 1995, David’s wife, Susan, joined the team. Together, the sales staff at Treasure Trove has over 90 years of combined experience working at Treasure Trove and are fully committed to keeping the traditions and the spirit of the founding father. We are looking for a Social Media Assistant Intern. Student will assist in posting content, collecting and analyzing data related to social media marketing campaigns. Assists in identifying appropriate social media channels for their specific business needs, and tailors campaigns to the target audience.
Intern will also assist in tracking performance of various social media initiatives and develops/implements changes to improve business results. Intern will help with the development and maintenance of online content that attracts attention, generates interest, and is easily shared with social networks. Must be able to establish a relationship with bloggers and other members of the online community.
Responsibilities- Provide links to 1-3 social networking profiles to demonstrate interest and knowledge
- Possess skills in writing, presentation, interpersonal relations, and customer management
Requirements- Create and post social media content
- Interact with social media followers and build relationships
- Coordinate online marketing and advertising campaigns
- Collaborate with the Communications Department and report to the Senior Digital Strategist
- Organize staff and campus coordination and community outreach
