Save the Water™ (STW™) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization dedicated to solving the world water crisis through excellence in water science research and by forming alliances with organizations, scientists, universities, media, businesses, and governments around the world to promote awareness of water contamination issues.

With growing social outlets, there is never enough social media people on the team. We are searching for a Content Developer: Twitter who is energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate. So if that's you, please talk to us! We need your passion!

Responsibilities

Content Developers are expected to put in a minimum of 5 hours per week and be responsive to emails within three (3) calendar days.
Create content for Twitter.
Represent STW™ appropriately as a Brand Ambassador and promoting the growth of followers and visitors to the website (SEO) in order to obtain advertising sponsors and donations.
Research articles and check out new articles on the STW™ website weekly.
Check in on your social media channel multiple times per week and be social with our/your followers. Responding to followers and direct messages.
Provide basic analytics.
Be an advocate for events.
Attend weekly social media meetings.
(optional) Assist with graphic design for social media posts.

Requirements

Preferred BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration.
Strong analytical ability; strong Excel and Access knowledge.
Energetic team player with strong initiative, work ethic and ability to work independently.
Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated attention to details.
And of course, love for Social Media!
