Description

Urban Leak is a community of entrepreneurs, journalists, and social marketers that provides entertainment through various social channels for our world’s non traditional news. Our brand reaches +80M people a month, mostly millennial men. We break live video from naked Donald trump statues to freestyle cyphers and everything in between. We write for reaction and conversation. We market for companies that want to be heard through the leak as a viral channel. We work with exciting new startups and leading entrepreneurial minds to evolve brand presence for our customers. We have fun while doing it.
You will learn… How to write for a large audience with diction narrated to an urban demographic, edit branded content and tailor it for marketing campaigns, use creative writing to drive audience engagement, how to select winning photos

Responsibilities

- Report trending news on a variety of subjects
- Write articles with insights
- Help create branded copy under director of marketing
- Work closely with other social channel teams to curate the best content
You will be a serious player on the content and marketing team. You will NOT be asked to get coffee, do bitchwork or be bored. You will be able to develop your personal brand, we encourage our community to get behind their personal brand.

Requirements

A socially aware, sharp, witty and talented person who's got interest in digital marketing and tech/startups in general. Someone who is self-directed and desires to be creative and expand their skill-set in trending content journalism.
