Nu-You Wellness and Enrichment is looking for a self-motivated, detail oriented individual to help support our efforts to establish and maintain a successful, dynamic social media presences for our organization.
In this part-time role, you will be an online Ambassador expected to monitor our brand activity across a broad range of social networking sites and blogs, cultivate and grow online relationships with key target audiences, and seek new opportunities to integrate social media into our strategic marketing objectives.
This position is a new addition to our team. The Social Media Coordinator needs to be someone who is well-versed in social media and experienced using social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and others. If you aren’t a passionate, active user of these sites, then you are probably not the right person to fill this role.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for daily posts to all applicable social media outlets. Other duties include coordinating the marketing calendar with online activity, tracking social media influence measurements, partnering with other departments to ensure proper online messaging and relevancy, ensuring consistency of messages across multiple networks, preparing reports to update internal staff on usage statistics, and continuous monitoring and coverage of all sites. The right candidate possess excellent verbal and written communication skills (including proofreading), and have expert knowledge of social networking channels.
Requirements2+ years professional work experience; a background in Marketing, Advertising, and/or Public Relations is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a crucial part of the success of this position, specifically the ability to present ideas and information clearly and engage with other social networking users in a personal and meaningful way.
Previous experience working with social media on behalf of clients is desired. If applicable, links to the online presence of these brands will be requested during the application process.
You must have active, established accounts across key social media sites including Facebook and Twitter. You will be asked to provide access to these accounts during the application process.
You must have experience and inclination to work in a collaborative team environment, where good ideas and experienced opinions are highly valued.
