DescriptionDepartment: Digital Strategy
Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media platforms to communicate ideas related to science and the museum’s mission to the general public. Create reports and analyze social media data to better inform content choices and decisions in the future. Supports the Social Media Manager
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Physics, Astronomy, Education, or Museum Studies
Special Skills Required:
Advanced written communication skills and creativity required.
Experience with social media platforms, including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and blogging.
Strong analytical (Excel) and reporting (PowerPoint) capabilities.
Minimum 8-hours a week.
