Seeking a social media intern who will assist the social media team with the development of infographics and content curation for company website and social media platforms as needed. The Candidate should have a thorough understanding of social media and multimedia communication. In addition, s/he should be able to coordinate with all the departments involved to ensure the completion of the associated marketing efforts. A high degree of organization and self-motivation is required. S/he must also stay aware of upcoming digital trends to ensure company participation. Must make own travel/housing arrangements and provide own equipment (i.e. laptop and internet connection for remote work).
Duration: 8 weeks

Responsibilities• Work alongside the Director of Social Media and Influencer Relations to curate content for social media platforms
• Create infographics for social media platforms and company website
• Assist with development of blog and social media editorial calendars
• Other tasks as necessary
Requirements• Must be able to commit at least 15 to 20 hours per week
• 3rd and 4th year undergraduate students in Communications, Design, Digital/Multimedia Journalism, Fine Arts, Marketing, Public Relations, or related majors
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop and PicMonkey and/or relevant coursework
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated
