DescriptionInterloper Films is seeking a passionate, organized, and self-starting social media marketing intern with an interest in the entertainment industry. This person should have a serious interest in social media marketing as a career option first, and a passion for the entertainment industry second. This is not an internship for someone looking to work in production or post-production. This opportunity is solely meant for those who want to help market and promote a small, independent production company focused on documentaries.
2-3 times a week. Hours are flexible

RequirementsA passion for social media, film, politics and pop culture
A working knowledge of social media; experience using these platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+, YouTube
Demonstrated knowledge and skill in marketing brands, products, people and/or organizations
Ability to back-up strategy with documented, current and credible research
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A resourceful self-starter with the ability to work well independently and as a contributing member of a team
Strong time-management and organization skills
Highly organized and able to communicate ideas and concepts clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
The ability to juggle multiple projects and excel under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Graphic design (Photoshop) and/or video editing experience preferred
A positive attitude, lots of enthusiasm, and an outgoing personality
Currently enrolled in a college or university program and pursuing a degree in Film, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, PR, New Media, Business, or similar major
Experience using Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Buffer, Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Iconosquare, Facebook insights, and Google Analytics preferred
