DescriptionThe goal of the Social Media Internship is to improve the online presence of a company and its products and services. The internship will include managing Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Google + and YouTube accounts. This will entail updating status posts, generating content, building relationships with consumers, linking to related sites and/or news stories, and much more. Creating customer engagement and excitement are an essential piece. The final goal is to reach more followers/fans on all social media components for the term of the internship. Some projects might be paid*
Responsibilitiesa. Set-up a page/profile for company
b. General facts
i. Intern will find relevant research/articles that support the industry or specific products/services or value proposition of the company
ii. Intern will use social media networks to share these general facts
c. Build character for a company
i. Must create at least one video –or episode- per week depending on project
ii. Videos can be shot onsite or offsite
d. Identify and begin interacting with key influencers in your industry
i. Intern will follow key influencers and begin retweeting their comments
ii. Intern will send key influencers personal/direct messages and share relevant articles or information, unrelated to your brand
e. Run informational and promotional campaigns
i. Intern will give quick tid-bits about products and services and related items.
ii. Intern will share random facts of “Did you know?” about the actual product/services of your company
iii. Intern will offer surprise giveaways to followers
f. Event promotion
i. Intern will be provided with a monthly calendar of events and activities
ii. Intern will be responsible for creating events on the company’s page/account and marketing the event using social media
iii. Intern will work with marketing team to build buzz about any activities or events that are planned
iv. Intern will use geo-location service tools such as check in or Foursquare to drive awareness about your brands whereabouts
v. Intern will attend events and take pictures, tag and upload them to networks
vi. Livestreaming is optional
i. Intern will visit competitors’ pages and report back on their findings as to what they’re promoting and how it can be improved
ii. Intern will also identify key friends/fans that your company should also be targeting/friending
i. The goal/metric for social media network growth is to add new fans, tweet, re-tweet, pin, post or direct message something of value at a minimum of twice a day.
ii. The goal/metric for YouTube is to create a video presence that can be used for multiple functions to attract customers, engage employees and build awareness. All posts should be responsive style posts asking and/or engaging a response from followers.

Requirements- You must love to checking and being up to date with al Social Media Trends.
- You must also love to create a trend in Social Media and keep consistency in posting and getting more fans.
- You must have a passion for capturing a brand a becoming their voice.
- You must have some experience in Writing Blogs, Social Media content and graphic creation.
- You must have some knowledge to create graphics for Social Media posts.
- You must be a creative thinker and strategist with great communication skills, work independently and take full ownership of a project.
- You must love to work with a multicultural and funny team.
