Modern Governess LLC provides family-childcare specialist (nanny, governess) consulting and matchmaking. They consult with families regarding their childcare needs and help them at any—or all—stages of their nanny/governess in-home hiring and household employment process. MG understands that early educational and developmental experiences are paramount to children's future academic, social and emotional success. Your child deserves more than a babysitter to succeed in our 21st-century world. MG educates families and childcare specialists about the industry norm and best practices. They offer an array of à la carte services for families who are seeking exceptional care providers; and childcare specialists who are seeking likeminded family employers.
Social Media Intern Job Description (Approximately 10-15 hours a week; Work Remotely)
• Updates social media accounts, including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
• Appropriately responds, interacts to comments and posts
• Researches and writes blog posts on topics including but not limited to: parenting, nanny, childcare, early childhood education, household staffing, etc.
• Researches relevant articles, resources and research studies; and posts it to our social networks to elicit meaningful engagement and conversation.
RequirementsMust be a creative, self-starter who is willing to take initiative, needs little direction (though will be supervised by managing director).
Must have a strong understanding of various social media platforms, and can comfortably, thoughtfully and appropriately manage an online presence.
Knowledge of K-12 education, in-home staffing, child development and childcare is strongly preferred though not required.
