Forward-thinking startup company in the health and wellness field is looking to hire an intern with strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including various social media websites and blogs. The company is currently active on social media and rapidly building an audience. The intern hired for this position will need strong critical thinking skills as well as a positive, can-do attitude. Our team is looking forward to sharing this exciting time with an intern hoping to gain a ton of great online experience and be part of a growing brand.

Crop Tops and Kale is a wellness resource for women, created by three friends who wanted to do something fun. The blog examines all the facets of life that help us feel good be it food, fitness, fashion or finances. Through a mix of personal stories, expert interviews and a little bit of humor, CTK aims to help women feel good everyday and create a life they love. We are based out of New York City and would love to meet with the intern periodically in person, but this position will be remote. See website here:


• Contribute to company’s social media effort in various ways
• Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks
• Online outreach and promotion using Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest
• Website and social media optimization
• Keyword analysis
• Work with team to brainstorm and develop blog topics and marketing campaigns


Students applying for this internship should have at least one year of experience using social media and a solid understanding of the blogging world. An interest in health and wellness is ideal. Students should be working toward a degree in Journalism, Marketing, Business or Communications, but we are open to any candidates with relevant knowledge or experience. Interest in photography and experience with Adobe Photoshop or other photo editing tools is a plus.
