DescriptionThe Rap Sheet 1.0 is an online social community that allows users to share their ratings and reviews with friends, family, and co-workers. The Rap Sheet provides the opportunity for users to affirm amazing qualities or gain feedback that can be worked on. This is also for informational purposes for future friends, encounters, and co-workers.
As a Social Media intern, our candidate will create various content recap reports to share internally across platforms and work closely with team members to fulfill research needs and complete time-sensitive projects.
You will learn the ins and outs of social networks and how to use social media to engage customers and prospective targets to nurture them through the publishing and marketing process. This internship is an unpaid position.
Interns are expected to have experience with social media on (at least) a personal level (use on a business level preferred). You must be able to think strategically and see how social media fits into a business’ marketing strategy, not just “selling” to our customers, but building long-lasting relationships by providing value to them, then measure and document the impact of social media, and then suggest action-steps to increase impact.

RequirementsAble to work 5-10 hours per week
Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills
Knowledge of social media – Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, etc.
Willingness to come up with fresh ideas on how to grow our online presence
Ability to identify a target market and “speak” to that consumer through social media
Experience proofreading and editing
Ability to work independently or as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment
