DescriptionSOCIAL MEDIA DELIVERED INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The world of marketing is ever changing and imposing new expectations on creative work
and business leadership. The firms who manage the communication between client,
consumer and business must adapt with the times. Based in Dallas, Texas, Social Media
Delivered is an exciting, fast paced, consulting firm, that focused on teaching and working
with companies who want to optimize social media in their marketing and business strategies.
Participants of the Social Media Delivered Internship Program receive a variety of benefits
including a first-hand view of the social media industry, and experience working in a
top-four media market.
ResponsibilitiesIn addition to tasks assigned by the Social Media Manager, the SMD intern is responsible
for the following:
● Drafting/proof-reading/updating micro blogs for review and consideration
● Developing in-depth client industry knowledge in order to better provide social
● Producing creative writing and graphic design that will generate a stronger social
media presence for client
● Providing current industry articles that show relevant news and industry trends in
social media for posting
● Generating strong writing which reflects a client’s brand and character through
social media vehicles.
The SMD intern must complete 240 hours in order to receive the Social Media Business
Equation Certification. This is an unpaid position that requires 20 hours per week.
RequirementsThe SMD Intern is a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior currently enrolled at a university or
college studying one of the following: Journalism, Marketing, Computer Sciences, Graphic
Design, New Media, Advertising, Public Relations, Account Planning, or related field that is
integral to the growth of social media marketing.
