DescriptionRevgen Solutions, LLC is a grant consulting agency located in northeast Connecticut. Our team prepares grant applications, business plans, marketing plans, and marketing content for business and non-profit organizations. Our CEO is also a published fiction author with more publications due soon. The right candidate will be able to market the business and the publications of the CEO through the company social media platforms.
We are looking for a Social Media Management Intern who can enhance our brand and build strong online communities through our various social media platforms. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and the company. The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review social media data to develop more effective campaigns.
This is a VIRTUAL position but you will be required to interview with the CEO in-person. You will also be required to have a weekly Skype conference with the CEO to monitor progress. We prefer someone local that is able to communicate and meet with the CEO on a regular basis.
ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns that help to achieve corporate and author marketing goals
Develop and post engaging posts to Twitter, Facebook, Goodreads and LinkedIn accounts on a daily basis. You may also be responsible for occasional website content (i.e.. news articles and updates)
Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the management and executive teams
Monitor the company’s social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users
Create methods for finding and saving online customer reviews
Analyze the long-term needs of the company’s social media strategy and offer quarterly reports to the management and executive teams that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan
RequirementsCurrently pursuing a degree in a related field (i.e. communication, social media management, marketing). Prefer a candidate with an interest in grants and possibly pursuing a career as a grant writer.
1+ year experience in social media management
Exceptional multi-tasking skills
Able to explain complex social media data in an understandable way
Strong problem solving and research skills
Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Goodreads
