DescriptionAnchor Media is looking for bright and passionate students to join our intern program. Creative? Love writing? Tweeting? Then you will love working with our group of talented marketing professionals. Anchor is a fast growing social media marketing agency, and this position promises to teach you what it's like working in the world of social media while supporting a great lineup of local and national clients.
We'd like to hear your ideas, and let you experience a wide range of our work- giving you a solid "big picture" takeaway as well as an eye for detail. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong writing and communication skills. We're especially looking for creative individuals who work well individually and on a team.
First semester is for academic credit and if employer and student wish to extend the internship a second semester, the role will become a paid $10 an hour position.
16-24 hours a week, flexible schedule
6 month semester
ResponsibilitiesCreation of written social content for client and social media profiles
Monitor and maintain profiles on multiple social media platforms
Identifying and implementing ways to improve social efforts
Assist in creating overall social media marketing strategies
Research and analyzing as needed
Event creation and implementation
Other project work as needed
Strong writing and communication skills
Education relevant to marketing, social media or public relations
Knowledge of social media platforms and the industry
Time-management and organizational skills
Enthusiastic and easygoing personality
Video editing or graphic design skills a huge plus, but not required
Ability to work remotely
Available to work 16-20 hours per week (flexible scheduling)
