Create social media concepts and maintain Gilly Group and its clients’ brand presence on all major social channels
Serve as one of the voices of the brand(s) and build positive relationships while engaging in direct dialogue with all who interact with brands through social media
Leverage social media management and web-based analytical tools to determine effectiveness of content approach and act on needed improvements
Monitor all social media activity on Gilly Group and its clients’ sites, industry sites and competitive sites
Marketing Team Support:
Coordinate the distribution of contest prizes associated with marketing events and campaigns
Contribute to weekly marketing meetings
Assist with photo and video support where necessary
Contribute to Gilly Group’s blogs as needed
RequirementsWe are looking for a creative self-starter who is comfortable with taking initiative and working in a fast pace environment. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media and social networking; regularly observes the online activity of model organizations researches and reports on “social media best practices,” uses Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (Pinterest, Periscope, tumblr, Snapchat, Vine, Reddit, and YouTube a plus).
Our ideal candidate is entering their Junior, Senior year or is graduating in 2016, searching to become part of a small work team, is self-motivated, works well independently, has a figure-it-out attitude, and has a strong interest in learning and developing their social media marketing skills during this program.
