We are seeking a social media intern to work closely with our marketing manager. This position will give you a chance to get involved with our Social Media Management division. A Hands-on role that will provide real-life working experience for future employers. You will learn about Market Research within the US furniture market, blog writing, SEO, and much more. You will learn popular business practices, and skills necessary to operate in a fun office environment, as well as the importance of networking.
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual that is ready to gain experience, loves decor, obsessed with Pinterest and is ready to join a fast growing e-commerce startup.
This is an unpaid position but coffee and snacks, school credit, hands on experience, and references will be provided.

ResponsibilitiesWork with the marketing team on day-to-day social media management for multiple clients/partners
Monitor social media presence
Market research which includes identifying and engaging with key influencers
Daily social media outreach
Develop promotional social media campaigns to engage users and build followers
Identifying and compiling/updating list of bloggers, traditional media and other journalists for outreach.
Communicate information to our management team
Research and assist with developing marketing material
RequirementsExcellent writing and visual merchandising skills
Organized with strong attention to detail
Proficient use of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest & Wordpress
Graphic design experience (Adobe Photoshop) is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
SkillsRequired - Photo Retouching, Social Media Marketing, Adobe Photoshop, Writing Skills
