Description

About the position:
We are seeking a social media marketing intern to assist us with specific social media needs. The intern will be responsible for maintaining our current social media accounts (Facebook & Twitter). The position includes posting images, status updates and other updates that are relevant to our market. The intern will be required to post (or schedule posts) on a daily, weekly basis as instructed. Most of the work can be done at home, with a ~30min weekly meeting to recap and brainstorm for future content would be at our Back Bay Boston office. This is a paid, work from home internship, where you will be required to work 5-10 hours per week. The internship will last 3 months; upon the successful completion of the internship you may be offered a longer term position with the company.

Requirements

Requirements for the internship:
*Solid understanding of social media
*Good grammar is a MUST for this position
*English as a first language
*Proper communication skills are a must (such as prompt responses to emails).
*Work with us to design a FB ad campaign to help drive likes and traffic to the site
*Respond personally to tweets and posts to help direct inquiries to the email address and traffic to website

Qualifications:
• College student level (exceptional HS student considered on a case by case basis)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience building a social media presence on Facebook and Twitter
• Knowledge of using hash tags, and other symbols used in social media
• Proficient in the use of Word and Excel
• Able to problem solve and work independently
• Take initiative when things need to be done
