Description

The Alcove Recording Studio is looking for interns to join our team. We are looking specifically for interns who specialize in social media and marketing. We would like to hear from candidates who think they can manage and maintain our social media sites (instagram, twitter, facebook & tumblr). We have a lot of exciting things going on at the studio and have great promotion material! The vast majority of our work comes from record labels and publishing companies. Because our clientele consists mostly of high-scale recording artists, we are looking for respectful, well-mannered, diligent, hard-working people to work with us. The studio is run by multi-platinum producers and engineers and provides a great environment for interns to learn. This is a two-way street, and we want you to gain as much from us as we can gain from you.

Responsibilities

Interns will be expected to perform all or some of the following responsibilities:

Run errands/pick up food, gear, etc.
Answer phones and take messages
Call labels/publishing companies to book/confirm bookings
Clean the studio and prep for clients
Upload media and text to social media sites (upon management approval)

Requirements

The requirements for candidates are:

Your own car and license to be able to run errands
Extensive experience with various social media sites
Experience with Microsoft Word and Office
Experience with customer service
Efficiency and organizational skills
