DescriptionMX3 Capital provides small to medium sized businesses seeking capital with an alternative to banks. In the social media age, maintaining a strong social media presence is paramount in the success of a business. This internship is a cornerstone of what MX3 Capital is trying to build, and the production of this position is what will set us apart from our competitors.
The Social Media Marketing internship is an opportunity to get hands on experience in the various stages of a marketing campaign. Interns will be assisting the President with social media accounts, drafting material, and analyzing data in marketing campaigns. Additionally, Marketing Interns will assist with Public Relations materials.
Must bring innovative ideas to the table, and present outside the box solutions that executive team can not come up with on their own.
ResponsibilitiesSocial Media focus includes:
Assist with social media engagement by helping manage MX3 Capital’s social channels.
Drafting and editing copy for social channels.
Monitoring social media web analytics on a weekly basis (e.g. page views, twitter followers), and provide reports of growth and other activity.
Analyzing data from social media campaigns
Marketing/advertising focus includes:
Engaging with marketing teams on a regular basis to brainstorm ideas for new and innovative marketing and social media campaigns.
Assist with gathering data for marketing reports and supporting a variety of marketing and advertising programs.
Creating campaigns to support the efforts of MX3 Capital.
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Researching industry specific sites (blogs, forums, etc.) for product reviews, customer comments, and other relevant marketing information.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Docs
Knowledge and experience with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
Pursing undergraduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA
Self-starter with good time management skills
Ability to work independently and with others
Ability to maintain strong and consistent communication through email, phone, and RingCentral.
