DescriptionCrushh is a soon-to-be-launched unique mobile app (www.crushhapp.com) that analyzes texts messages and tells the user how the people they text feel about them.
We are looking for a bright and creative summer intern who can help expand the app’s presence on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. The internship is unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing and maintaining the social media marketing strategy for a one-of-a-kind start-up, from the ground up. You will have the creative freedom to come up with your own ideas and put them into practice.
The internship, based in NYC, will start in September. The duration of the program will depend on performance. You will work mostly at WeWork in Williamsburg with the founder, with some remote work a possibility.
You will be paid hourly wage of $10.00/hr. Hours will vary but generally 10-20 hours per week.

ResponsibilitiesYou will participate in developing the app’s social media marketing strategy, help create marketing campaigns, and be responsible for daily social media communications. Initially, you will play a significant role in marketing the app ahead of the launch. Because you will be part of a small team, you will also be expected to assist in any administrative function as well.
Develop app’s content on social media pages
Promote the app on major social media platforms
Keep Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn relevant with current information, relevant/interesting news, marketing material (which you will help create)
Research ways to improve social media performance
Brainstorm creative ways to attract social media audience and boost the app’s profile online
Assist in other related functions such as creating web content, executing (non-social media) marketing campaigns, and miscellaneous administrative functions
RequirementsBe in New York City (some remote work possible)
An existing strong person social media following (so we can get a sense of your own presence)
Strong familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest
Ability to commit to 15 to 20 hours per week
Strong organization & the ability to manage multiple projects
Outstanding verbal & written communication skills
Creativity – this position will require you to come up with your own campaigns
Technical, website, photography, Photoshop (or comparable), and graphic design skills are a big plus.
Since the app is currently available for Android only, being an Android user is a plus, but not required
