Always be on the alert for potentially fraudulent job postings online - never send money to a potential employer.
DescriptionSheAttack.com is a female-run website that features news about video games, gaming media, industry, culture, and socialization in gaming. There is a statistic that 49% (and rising) of gamers are women. Our main objective is to bridge the gap between that 49% and the rest of the gaming community.
Although the theme of SheAttack.com emphasizes the presence of female voices in gaming, we do offer ALL positions to male candidates.
ResponsibilitiesSheAttack is looking for a social media representative to increase the visibility of website related content and to encourage community interactions for the purpose of building rapport and bringing in potential readership. The position would entail creating original content and posts for SheAttack's social media pages 1-3 times per day via retweeting when our articles are shared, responding to commentors discussing our content, and creating gaming related questions or sharing jokes for community interaction. The person that will ultimately be manning the social media pages needs an intermediate to expert understanding of video game culture, trends, and news. They will also need to have a general understanding of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Google Plus trends regarding popular hashtags and tagging related developers or other parties on posts that pertain to them.
Our social media pages are as follows:
