The Whitney Reynolds Show is searching for a social media guru. With the recent shift to Monday nights, there is much excitement in the air regarding the show. We are looking for someone who can help communicate that to the world via online social channels.

Some of the duties that you will work hand-in-hand with the owners will include:
*General marketing activities
*Attend events and host the sales booth
*Reach out to bloggers and influential people
*Social media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
*Blogging

The Whitney Reynolds Show is committed to having fun, inspiring millions and making a difference. After only a year airing as an online talk show, W3! was picked up by NBC Chicago to play on a weekly rotation Saturday and Sundays on their NBC Chicago Nonstop channel. The Whitney Reynolds Show was one of only two contributed shows (shows not produced by NBC) selected to air on the new channel. The new Whitney Reynolds Show is now shown on WTTW and WTTW Prime (Both PBS stations). Our goal is to go national within the next year.

This opportunity is perfect for any students or recent graduates looking to gain real experience in the television industry. We are a fun, talented, and motivated group that has grown from an online talk show to now airing on a prime channel. We are actively looking for someone who wants to get creative to help grow our show! Some of the areas of focus would include: Growing followers and updating social media (Daily/Weekly), Tweeting, Instagram posts, Facebook, Email marketing (Mail Chimp), Blogging through Tumblr.

Responsibilities

This will not be a daily position, more of an "on-call" position at first and as the business grows the time requirement may increase. We will communicate with our new team member and work with them to make sure time and responsibilities are fair and we promise to make it fun! Some of the responsibilities can be done from your home and others will need to be done in our office.

We are a cross functional team that thrives on the next challenge. Because of this, we would offer you a unique environment where you could contribute in many ways and we are open to suggestions.... Here are thoughts about growing viewers and followers.....Updating social media (Daily/Weekly), Tweeting, Instagram posts, Facebook, Email marketing (Mail Chimp), Bloging through Tumblr. If you have an idea, let us know and we can create a special project around it!

Requirements

In order for the business to grow and for us to begin paying you, we need a hard worker and someone who has a heart and passion to grow this business! Here are a few important qualities we are looking for:

*Creative
*Ability to use and navigate social media
*Must live in Chicagoland area
