+ Strong writing skills
+ Experience promoting your company's mission through social media
+ Extensive use of a wide variety of social media platforms
+ Experience working closely with executive/senior management

+ Curate relevant content to reach the company's ideal clients.
+ Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
+ Monitor, listen and respond to users in a "Social" way while cultivating leads and sales.
+ Conduct online advocacy and open stream for cross-promotions
+ Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach effort.
+ Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and IG)
+ Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
+ Compile reports for management showing results (ROI and engagement)
+ Become an advocate for the Company in Social Media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
+ Demonstrate ability to map out marketing strategy and then drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics.
+ Develop a strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing client online reviews. Monitor online ratings and respond accordingly.
+ Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.


+ Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media. (Give links to profiles as examples)
+ Proficient in content marketing theory and application. Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
+ Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
+ Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
+ Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
+ Exceeds at building and maintaining sales relationships, online and off.
+ Is a Team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary. (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).
+ Maintains a working knowledge of principles of SEO including keyword research. Highly knowledgeable in the principles of "Search and Social".
+ Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques. Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
+ Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results


What We're Looking For:
A social media/digital community specialist who is an innovative writer that utilizes social media to inspire and educate. This position offers the chance to work with the best and brightest in their fields, providing crucial support to the company. You will develop content and work closely with key members of the executive team. You should possess strong writing skills and creative thinking abilities be someone who can work independently. This person will be the right hand of the founder. We need someone who can help create a media strategy and work with the founder to curate and create content. They will be in charge of creating and managing our social media schedule for our Chairman's personal brand and the corporate group. In addition, they will need to engage with our contacts-of-influence/opportunity community and work to increase their influence.

Ideally this candidate would be enthusiastic about their duties and willing to take on more responsibility with various tasks involved with running a 5-year old start up.

What We Expect:
Enthusiasm, creativity, passion, flexibility. A familiarity with branding and design is preferred. An understanding that follow through and details are vital. This includes developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic, as well as cultivating leads and sales. The idea candidate is a highly motivated individual with a passion for designing content strategies, creating awesome content, blogging, community participation, and leadership.
