DescriptionWant an internship that allows you to do real-world work, not get coffee? Pulse Magazine is looking for an intern to maintain and coordinate our social media pages, keep our website up-to-date, and assist in the marketing and logistics of our exciting events schedule.
At Pulse, the No. 1 lifestyle and entertainment magazine in Central Massachusetts, we believe that the best office environment crackles with energy, encourages employees to bring their own unique personalities and ideas to the table, and inspires every single member of the team to do their very best work.
As an intern at Pulse, you’ll update our social media pages and various websites while learning how the publishing world works, how to promote events and how to tailor your posts to different demographics. To us, you won’t be “just an intern,” you’ll be a valuable member of our team.
We’re the producers of some of the biggest events in Central Mass, including Worcester Restaurant Week, The Taste of Shrewsbury, and Chili & Chowder Fest. We recently started a series of pop-up parties called Downtown Underground. These events pose an opportunity for creative marketing, from ad design to creating social media campaigns. You’ll get an inside look at both the planning process and execution.
We’re looking for a student with exceptional organizational, writing and design skills, who is excited about social media and has a basic understanding of SEO concepts. Hours are flexible.
