Karavan creates list of the best in food, drinks, entertainment, shopping and more int NYC . We have a website now and will be launching a mobile app in the next month.

We are currently looking for a smart, energetic intern to help manage our New York lists and our social media accounts. This is an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge of the latest social media techniques and practices and to gain experience managing for a local growing NYC startup.

You love social media!
You love food and checking out new places!
You love New York City and experiencing all the city has to offer!
You want to work at an early stage internet startup
You have good written and verbal communication skills.
You are self-motivated and can manage multiple workflows and prioritize your own time.
You will be doing most of the work on your own remotely.

Responsibilities

Post to our instagram and twitter accounts
Manage our New York lists to make sure they are accurate and up-to-date.
Create your own lists.
Partner with other social media accounts to cross-promote Karavan.
Develop strategies for engaging with users.

Requirements

Available a minimum of 2 days per week
Must have a laptop
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate education in entrepreneurship, marketing, retail, public relations, fashion, communications or business related major.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Familiar with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
