You will learn everything you need to know to secure a job in the Social Media Market space. This position may lead to full time employment as we have over 2000 executive search firms that require blogging and are impressed with the blogs on our website.
This position will assist in every area of social media content on the web! You will also be writing and publishing blogs and articles in our award-winning website at The Oxford Group, www.theoxfordgroup.net. We are the leading executive search firm in the cloud computing space in executive search. This virtual position will play a key role in writing articles tweeting and publishing articles, article spinning and placing these articles on different blog sites on the web.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities may include Skyping with our designers in Philippines and emailing pictures to our webmaster in the Philippines. One day you'll be on Face book adding posts and the next day you may be organizing a LinkedIn site. You will learn how to leave “footprints in the sand” for blogging across multiple sites. Your knowledge base will increase 100fold!!
If you attitude is upbeat and you are proactive, you'll have a blast.
A good candidate for this position is smart, creative, can research articles and rewrite them. Learn the ins and outs of online media with a great team. After you write the articles one of our recruiting staff will put our personal experience spin on the article to make it fresh and pop!
You should have a strong interest in both social and online media and its capabilities, an efficient and organized approach to tasks, strong writing skills and great news judgment. You will have the opportunity to develop skills in HTML, analytics, content management systems (CMS), photo editing (Photoshop), eNewsletter production, and other areas critical to online journalism.
If you enjoy people, writing, editing, social media, video, uploading files, Skyping and doing something new every day, this may be for you.
We will teach you LinkedIn mastery which will put you in the top %5 in the world on LinkedIn knowledge and proficiency.
You will learn how to interview, how to write a good resume, how to stand out from the crowd.
The experience you'll gain will be remarkable. All of our previous interns were offered full time employment within a year of working with us. Some worked for a while and others struck out on their own. In either case, we were their springboard to a successful career.
RequirementsWe prefer candidates currently attending or have graduated from a university/college in the US but will look at high school graduates that have excellent writing skills.
Since blogging is used in every industry we will look at students in any major. Studying journalism, communications or English in college is a plus. Pre and Post-college applicants welcome to apply.
Knowledge of AP style, including headline and caption writing is helpful but we can teach.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good computer/technical skills is helpful but we can teach.
Some knowledge of HTML preferred is helpful but we can teach.
A command of the nuances of various social media platforms and how to best deliver content using them is helpful but we can teach.
A sharp editorial eye and exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work within a team collaborative environment
High School or College Student. Preferably a college student.
We have created a medium for our team to gain knowledge and industry experience
while supporting aspiring individuals by way of interviews, product reviews, and
general articles online and eventually through glossy print.
Uploading new written blog entries provided with photo's
Solid understanding and interest in online technologies that support online media is helpful but we can teach
Use of Social Media – Twitter, Face book, Instagram, Tumblr, Linked In, Google Plus etc

Writing, editing, proofreading and communication skills
