DescriptionWe are a 25-person software development team that writes software you can't buy off the shelf. Our clients love the creative software we make for them. Since we have an in-house graphic design department who design amazing User Interfaces for Web and Mobile devices, you can focus on writing killer software that surprises and delights our clients. You will get to work with the latest tools (Visual Studio 2012, Xamarin Studio, SQL Server, JQuery, etc.) with seasoned professionals who make a life of giving others a "Better Reality" through radical creativity and productivity.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be required to work with a mentor who will direct you on tasks to complete usually in Visual Studio 2012 (C#). You will need to log your time, work under source code control, read-write well, communicate well, and contribute to the office environment and behave like a professional. We will even bring you on client meetings to gather requirements and show off you work.
To begin the application process, please send an email with your cover letter to email@example.com. You will receive further instructions.
RequirementsC# is a must. ASP.NET, MVC, JQuery, and Database knowledge is what you will need along with a passion for software development. If this is not your hobby, you do not want this Internship.
Working with Source Code Control is a must (we use Git). You should know about object-oriented programming (Inheritance, etc.) You will be given a test during your interview where you will need to write code to solve a problem. You will be asked to show some work you are proud of and some that you are not and talk through what you would have done differently. You must be willing to learn SOLID design principles, keyboard shortcuts, and be able to teach us something new in the realm of software development that we didn't already know. You must have the design to give someone a better day by using software that you built.
