Lexmark International is seeking an intern to design and develop Web-based systems using sophisticated data mining/information visualization solutions.
Duties of this position include updating and modifying Web based data reporting and recording systems. This position will require a strong ability to coordinate within a team organization with other programmers and engineers. One must have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interface with all levels of the organization and product documentation that is usable in production. Candidate will work in a team environment to design, select, and develop Web applications.
Must be a student working towards B.S. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Ideal candidate would be at least a third year student with strong GPA (3.0 minimum).
Experience with hands-on development of web applications
Capable of managing and navigating multiple computer operating systems including MS Windows, AIX, and Linux.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
Positive attitude and approach to problem solving
