Responsibilities

Your experience will be tailored to your learning goals with three opportunities available within the Q/A Department. The first two areas are intended to provide the candidate with an opportunity to extend beyond the classroom and immerse into the development life-cycle as part of the team that evaluates the application, database, or platform depending on the skills you are developing. An additional opportunity is available for those who would like to put their understanding of statistics to real world use as part of our process improvement team.

If you have:
• At least one programing class preferably in Java.
• The ability to write simple SQL statements.
The opportunities include:
o Learning how to build automated tests using Selenium with java.
o Building skills for test automation through opportunities using scripting methods, test tool set use, and test platform management techniques.
o Training in the identification of test objectives, validation criteria, and test cases.
o Experience brainstorming with teams to find innovative solutions to identify issues early in the change management life cycle.
If you have:
• Linux or DB administration class experience.
The opportunities include:
o Building skills for test automation through opportunities using scripting methods, test tool set use, and test platform management techniques.
o Training in the identification of test objectives, validation criteria, and test cases.
o Experience in the automation of environment management and implementation of data integrity methods
o Experience in the automation of system maintenance for the test environment, data loading, and data cleansing functions.
o Experience brainstorming with teams to find innovative solutions to identify issues early in the change management life cycle.
If you have:
• Two years of statistical analysis course work
The opportunities include:
• Experience in audit principles and practices.
• Learn how to provide metrics from raw audit and test execution data for process improvement opportunity identification
• Experience brainstorming with teams to find innovative solutions to identify issues early in the change management life cycle.
