Union Pacific Railroad has several year-round internship opportunities available for interested students who would like to work up to 25 hours per week in the Information Technologies Department in Omaha, Nebraska. Internship opportunities exist in all areas of the IT Department, including applications development, IS security, systems engineering, IT operations, and Telecommunications.
* Internship responsibilities will vary based upon the area of the IT Department you are assigned. The responsibilities will range from providing Help Desk Support to working on sofware development and engineering teams responsible for developing and maintaining systems critical to Union Pacific.
* Students must be currently enrolled in a bachelor degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MIS or related IT field.
* Required skills include: Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Internet Navigation; Strong oral and written communication skills; Strong problem solving/analytical abilities.
