Description

I'm the Digital Director for a cool + sexy new media company called Galore (GaloreMag.com), which also has a creative influencer network called Kitten (KittenAgency.com).

We currently reach about 1.5 million+ unique visitors to the Galore website and reach over 30 million followers across IG & Snapchat through Kitten. We have a dope online magazine w about 20 writers posting 20-25 stories per day, a talent agency with around 100 social media celebrities, a beautiful quarterly print publication, and we just launched a brand new video platform with all original content, called GaloreTV (tv.galoremag.com).

Our NY office is in Chelsea (26th St) and we have an LA office in Silver Lake. We are very flexible with people working remotely, I don't even go into the office every day, and I like to work from LA sometimes cause its nice there.

Galore is kinda like a baby Vice.com but more edgy, sexy, and girl-focused. People are calling us the real MTV or like Vice 10 years ago.

I'm looking for an intern to specifically help out with designing and building really nice email templates, web pages, and marketing materials, and help me write code. I write a lot of code. I need you to help me write some code, mostly html, css, and javascript. I personally designed and built everything you see on any of our websites. I would love some help, and I would love to teach someone how to help.

The things I use every day: Atom, iTerm, Meteor, React, AWS, Slack, Asana, Google Docs, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch, Proto.io.

Let me know if you think this opportunity sounds like a good fit for you or anyone you know...

This would start as an unpaid internship, and again I'm happy to teach someone, but if it works out and this person is good, we will definitely pay competitively.

Thank you!!

Aaron Smulktis
