Description

SER exhibition services is New England's premier general services contractor to the trade show and events industries. A family owned business for over 30 years, SER is poised to move to the next level of leadership and excellence. SER expo seeks an Information & Technology Intern to assist our I&T team in support of developing new apps for sales and exhibitor services.

This internship is located in Worcester, MA. No relocation or like support offered.

Responsibilities

The Information and Technology Software Intern will be expected to assist in the creation, maintenance, testing and deployment of apps, programs and datasets to support sales and exhibitor services functions, as well as supporting documentation and training.
Some travel to shows in New England may be required to observe field use of tools and current apps, as well as support deployment of new apps.
Willingness to communicate with workers, clients and customers in a timely and affirmative manner;
Attention to detail is a must.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 semesters of post secondary education with a cumulative grade point average in all subjects greater than 2.5;
Facile with Microsoft Office suite;
One or more semesters of structured programming or logic;
Willingness to communicate with workers, clients and customers in a timely and affirmative manner;
Attention to detail.
