We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer Intern who will be involved in all aspects of QA for Indigo’s products and services. The QA Engineer Intern will assist the members of the QA Team with day-to-day tasks for the duration of the internship. Your contribution will serve to make a lasting impact on real products that Indigo’s customers will use.

Key responsibilities include:
-Communicate with customers and other Indigo team members regarding the status of issues
-Assist in creating and maintaining test plans and test cases for all Indigo products/services
-Assist in functionality, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, interoperability and end-to-end system testing
-Provide valuable user feedback while testing Indigo’s web applications, mobile applications and core business phone service
-Troubleshoot, analyze and isolate defects and report them to a bug tracking database
-Communicate technical concepts/issues clearly to colleagues and review documents for technical content and accuracy.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-1 year of experience with .NET technologies
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Have an understanding of the SDLC / STLC
-Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines and work independently
-Able to think in an innovative manner and be independently resourceful
-Be self-motivated, eager to learn, results oriented team player
-Possess a strong attention to detail, solid troubleshooting skills of complex problems
-A real interest in obtaining a rewarding career in Quality Assurance
-Great communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and clients


Requirements and Education:
-Must have at least Junior status in a Bachelor degree program or be enrolled in a Graduate degree program
-College coursework at the undergraduate/graduate level is preferred in any of the following subjects: Computer Science, Programming, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related subject matter
-Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Docs
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Have an understanding of the SDLC / STLC
-Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Not Required, but a Plus:
-Understanding of XML and API testing
-Knowledge of Web and CRM environments
-SQL / NOSQL database knowledge
-Familiarity with .NET Framework, MVC, HTML, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS , SQL/T-SQL, C#, Entity Framework, Web API, WCF, Knockout.js a plus
-Understanding of computer networking principles
