DescriptionThe candidate that applies to this job must be available on weekends for a full day starting at 8AM in the morning and getting done when the last tournament is completed.
You must be a physical education, recreation or sports major to apply. We will do a back ground check also.
This is a paid part-time position and get to learn how to organize league and sporting events in a medium size facility.
This recreational facility organizes youth sports for after school kids and weekend competition for adults and high school & junior high kids. Some programs will be co-ed.
After school programs consist of soccer, basketball and a dodge ball league for high school kids. Weekends will consist of tournaments and clinics.
The intern(s) will be responsible for checking the daily schedule to see what programs are being held, registered participants, organizing of any/ a lot of games, weekend tournaments write ups, reffing and possibly coaching (paid) if the opportunity occurs. This facility is a small multi-purpose sports venue where most participants will sign up online for events during year round activities. Marketing experience and athletic back ground is an added bonus but not required. You must have dedication, maturity and a great attitude to get an opportunity to be employed but also to make a change in a child/youth's life.
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PLAY AND HAVE EXPERIENCE PLAYING OR COACHING THE SPORT.

Any Year College student that needs to full fill their requirements
A MUST: Available to work nights (after 4 PM) and weekends
Athletic back ground
