Inland Empire Invaders
DescriptionThe Inland Empire Invaders and the Las Vegas Flames are seeking excited, outgoing and dedicated candidates that will interact with the general public while being an integral part of ongoing ticket sales efforts. The intern will be a vital part of assisting the IE Invaders & Las Vegas Flames in all aspects of selling, fulfilling and executing sales initiatives and game day operations. The position will gain hands-on experience in sales and marketing through implementing and planning off season activities leading up to the 2013-2014 season. Interns will also assist in facilitating grassroots marketing events. NOTE: While this position gives you invaluable experience in the sports marketing world, it is a non-paid position however there may be potential to ear sales commission.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in planning and executing various grassroots marketing activities with ticket department in order to drive ticket sales and brand awareness. Set up and transport various team products and materials to and from events, festivals, tournaments, leagues, etc. Assist in team basketball clinics as required. Raise fan support and team ticket sales through lead generation, cold calls and events. Aid VIP ticket sales ad department assigned tasks including research and projects. Create and Implement strategies to prospects. Develop and grow ticket sales opportunities and ideas. Coordinate ticket distribution program through outreach to non-profit organizations and other community groups. General office duties.
