Keystone Event Staffing is seeking an individual to manage game day staff for a local account. This position is for the upcoming summer of 2014. The On- Site Manager (OSM) will be required to work a season consisting of 50+ events – mainly on nights and weekends (there are a few day events as well). The OSM is also expected to keep office hours – TBD by event schedule. This position would have an ideal start date in April and conclude in mid-September.
Providing superior customer service to guests through the management and direction of the game day staff. The OSM will interact with the General Manager and his/her employees to maintain appropriate staffing levels during the events. The OSM will be responsible for hiring, training, scheduling and motivating game day staff as well as providing on-site support for each event in anticipation of attendance. The OSM will be responsible for verifying the hours worked by the game day staff; and in conjunction with Keystone Event Staffing’s Corporate Controller, preparing the game day staff’s payroll for each series that is played. Game day staff positions include: ticket takers, program sellers, concession workers, beer vendors, ushers, team store sales personnel, announcers and team mascots. This position requires a great deal of walking and standing and the ability to lift 75 lbs.
Be in the process of completing the requirements for a college degree or have already attained a college degree. Previous supervisory experience in areas such as retail, hospitality, operations, etc. is preferred but not necessary, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Email and the Internet; an upbeat, positive mental attitude; and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
